1997
One of the jerseys worn by India completely removed yellow from its jersey. It was a refreshing change for the Men in Blue. The jersey was light blue in colour throughout with a huge BCCI logo sewn across the centre.

1998
Yellow was back on the jersey this time around but it was only the team name which was in yellow. The jersey had dark blue circular designs all across while the players' names were also in dark blue. This was quite a different design and quite a good one as well.

The Coca Cola Cup 1998
This was the first time India introduced the tri-colour onto the jersey. The primary colour was light blue with the tri-colour on the sides. Yellow was completely removed from the jersey only to make a return once again later on.

The Indian side wore a lot of jerseys in 1998. This time, the colour completely changed to dark blue with "India" written in light blue in the middle. The jersey was quite pleasing to the eye but was not used for a long time.

1998 Knockout Trophy
The jersey colour was light blue once again with a huge tri-colour design in the centre. The tri-colour was pasted across on the arms as well while the shoulders were patches of dark blue. This jersey had a little too much on it
