As mentioned earlier, Bangladesh started off in a poor fashion. They played plenty of dot balls as they missed a lot of deliveries trying to slog everything out of the park. They failed to rotate the strike, and their innings never got any sort of momentum.

As a result, Bangladesh failed to accelerate in the middle overs as the Indian bowlers kept them in check. They failed to tackle the slow bouncers from the pacers and tried to force the issue by slogging hard. They failed to wait for the right delivery to go after whilst picking the singles and the doubles in between.
