This tour, more than cricket, will be remembered as England’s return home after the terror attacks in Mumbai. The last two matches, as a result, had to be called off. England did return for the Test series.

Returning to cricket, India won the ODI series 5-0. Yuvraj Singh scored 325 runs at 108.33. Zaheer Khan was the top wicket-taker in the series. Owais Shah and Stuart Broad were England’s top run scorer and top wicket taker with 236 runs and 7 runs.

Gautam Gambhir and Andrew Strauss shone for England with 361 and 252 runs respectively in the Test series. Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Graeme Swann shared 8 wickets each.
