Virat made his debut in 2008 against Sri Lanka, so in 10 years he has scored close to 10000 runs which suggest that if he plays the way he has in the past he will need around 9 more years to overhaul the record.

Going by this assumption, Virat will be 39 by then. Owing to the current workload, he might not play for that long.
