Virat currently has 17979 runs in international cricket: 6098 in Tests, 9779 in ODIs and 2102 in t20 internationals. He still needs close to another 17000 runs to surpass the master blaster.

Though he has already crossed the halfway mark, he might get close to this record might not be able to overhaul it.
