We can confirm now that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are a married couple. According to reports, the couple tied the knot today morning in a secluded ceremony at Borgo Finocchieto in Italy's Tuscany. The guest list included only the family members and close friends.

The rumours of Virat-Anushka's wedding started doing the rounds when the Indian skipper was not named in Team India's limited-overs squad for the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka. It is believed that a wedding reception has been planned for 26th December and a five-star hotel in Mumbai will be hosting it. The reception will supposedly be attended by top BCCI officials, Indian cricketers, Bollywood celebrities and other corporate hotshots.

According to reports in TOI, the wedding was a typical Punjabi affair and no one except the people on the guest list were allowed to enter the resort. While the couple had tried their best to keep the marriage a secret, reports in various media houses had all but confirmed that they were going to tie the knot sooner rather than later.
We, at Sportskeeda, wish the couple a happy married life.
