On Friday, when Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians face off in Dubai, their skippers, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma respectively, will appear in their 100th IPL match. In a unique feat, both captains will reach the landmark in the same match.

Dhoni and Rohit are both tied at 99 in the list of players who have played most matches in the history of IPL. CSK’s Suresh Raina, with 102 matches to his name, leads the list.

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli and Delhi Daredevils’ vice-captain Dinesh Karthik complete the top 5.
