But, just a few days later, that record has fallen again, as Rohit Sharma’s magnificent 209 yesterday in the final one-dayer in Bangalore meant that he leapfrogged Bailey to emerge on top. Bailey, for his part, was involved in a calamitous run out which ensured that he could not add much to his tally, leaving Sharma as the leading run scorer with 491.
