Royal Challengers Bangalore to wear green jersey in their final IPL match

RCB to go green in their final match against CSK

Royal Challengers Bangalore, who became the second team after Delhi Daredevils to be knocked out of the ongoing Indian Premier League, will wear green jersys today in their final match of this year’s tournament, against Chennai Super Kings.

The Vijay Mallya-owned team has been making this as a practice since 2011 to promote their “Go Green” initiative, a move to create awareness about global warming and thereby reduce its impact on the environment.

The Royal Challengers unit have been taking actions to plant trees and have also encouraged their fans to travel by buses to save fuel.

The following tweet from their official Twitter account confirms that the team will be wearing the green jersey for today’s match.
