RCB Squad 2024 most expensive players
Royal Challengers Bangalore did not bid aggressively at the auction. The RCB team owners signed only two players for more than INR 30 lakh each. Their most expensive signing was Ekta Bisht, whom they roped in for INR 60 lakh. She is a bowler from India.
The second most expensive signing made by the RCB franchise was that of Georgia Wareham. She is a talented all-rounder from Australia, and to acquire her services, the Bangalore-based franchise spent INR 40 lakh at the auction.
RCB Squad 2024 Captain
The captain of RCB squad 2024 will likely be Smriti Mandhana. The Bangalore-based franchise has not announced it officially, but considering that Mandhana was named the captain last season, the team management will stick with her for one more season.
Smriti Mandhana has also been the vice-captain of the Indian team. It will be interesting to see if the RCB team management name Mandhana as the skipper.
Prior to the Women’s Premier League Auction, the RCB Players List 2024, who were retained for the new season, had come out. At the auction, the Bangalore-based franchise signed seven players, thereby strengthening their squad.
Interestingly, not a single new addition to the RCB squad 2024 was made for more than 1 crore. The costliest purchase made by the Royal Challengers Bangalore was Ekta Bisht. The Indian bowler joined RCB for INR 60 lakh.
