After having won the Women's Premier League (WPL) title in 2024, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru failed to repeat the heist during the third season of the franchise-based tournament from February 14 to March 15, 2025. The Smriti Mandhana-led unit defeated the Mumbai Indians Women in the final of the 2024 edition to clinch the coveted title. Ahead of the 2025 edition, the Bengaluru-based franchise retained 13 players and traded in England's Danni Wyatt-Hodge from the UP Warriorz.
