Badale holds 65% of the stakes, followed by RedBird Capital Partners (15%) while Warne owns 3% stake. Murdoch’s share should be 17%, but it has not been officially disclosed yet.

Manoj Badale is an Indian businessman who is the co-founder of Blenheim Chalcot, a venture capital firm. He is also a managing partner of the firm. Previously, he held less than 40% stakes of the RR franchise, but he has increased his share gradually over the years.

Lachlan Murdoch is a British businessman. He runs multiple mass media businesses, including News Corp and Fox Corporation.

Redbird Capital Partners bought 15% stakes of the Rajasthan Royals team last year for an undisclosed amount. So they are part of Rajasthan Royals owner 2022 group. The US-based private equity firm also owns stakes in Liverpool and Boston Red Sox.

Late cricketer Shane Warne received 0.75% of Rajasthan Royals’ stakes for every season he played, which equalled to 3% at the end of his IPL career. He passed away earlier this year, and his family is likely to hold the stakes.
