One legend replaces the other. Rajasthan look to be a fresh outfit under their new skipper Rahul Dravid, who recently retired from international duty. However, they will miss the services of the beloved Shane Warne who led them to glory in the first edition.

The Rajasthan team has a good mix of experience and youth. They have a decent batting line-up, with Ajinkya Rahane at the top, followed by the experienced Rahul Dravid, Brad Hodge and Paul Collingwood. The bowling department also looks potent with Shaun Tait leading the attack in the absence of Sreesanth. The X-factor is Johan Botha, who with his all-round abilities can turn the match around.

Kings Xi Punjab, meanwhile, are not short on quality either. The batting liine-up looks strong with Gilchrist, Valthaty and Marsh at the top. The bowling department will be spearheaded by Praveen Kumar, but is relatively inexperienced. The X-factor is David Hussey who looks to be in good touch.

They are both free from international duties, but they will have their hands full trying to outsmart each other. If either of them fires with the bat, his team will be at an instant advantage.

Johan Botha vs David HusseyBoth terrific all-rounders and key members of their squad. They’ll be required to stabilize the middle-order as well as bowl a good spell. A lot depends on these two if their respective teams have to win.

Prediction:- A Rajasthan win seems likely as they look the more balanced of the two sides.
