It happened during the 2nd innings of a Test match between Australia and India in 2001.Sachin Tendulkar hit a pull shot off the bowling of Mark Waugh; the ball hit the short-leg fielder and then got deflected to end up in the hands of Ricky Ponting, who completed a brilliant diving catch to pull off a freak dismissal.
