Sachin Tendulkar and Usain Bolt are living legends: Chris Gayle

In a recent interview, flamboyant West Indian cricketer has referred to Sachin Tendulkar and Usain Bolt as ‘living legends’ in their own respective sport.

Talking about his friend and fellow Jamaican Usain Bolt, Gayle said that the world’s fastest man works really hard to achieve success. The six-time Olympic champion has played cricket in several Gayle’s charity matches.

When asked about his opinion on Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, the Jamaican said Sachin, despite his success and fame, is very humble and grounded, and was honoured to have shared the dressing room with the him.

When quizzed about a chance of him scoring a double century, Gayle joked that people expect him to score a double century in T20 not in 50 over cricket.
