Ramesh Tendulkar was born in the town of Alibag, which is located near Mumbai. He used to live in Alibag's Thikrul Naka. He received his primary as well as secondary education from Konkan Education Society Alibag before moving to Mumbai to pursue his higher education.
Sachin Tendulkar's father worked as a lecturer at Kirti College in Prabhadevi in the 1960s after finishing his studies. Ramesh Tendulkar was a well-known Marathi author who also wrote poetry and book reviews for a Marathi publishing company. Ramesh Tendulkar wrote a number of books. Ramesh Tendulkar married twice during his lifetime. Unfortunately, his first wife (name unknown) passed away, leaving behind two sons, Ajit and Nitin, and a daughter, Savita. Sachin Tendulkar's father later married Rajni, his deceased wife's younger sister, who worked in the insurance industry. They eventually had a son, whom we now know as Sachin Tendulkar.

When did Ramesh Tendulkar die?
Ramesh Tendulkar succumbed on May 19, 1999, at the age of 65, of a massive heart attack. This disaster occurred in the midst of the 1999 World Cup, and Sachin flew back to India from England, skipping the match against Zimbabwe, to perform his father's final rites. Sachin's mother, Rajni Tendulkar, persuaded him to go to the World Cup, after which he returned to England and played the game against Kenya, in which he scored 140 runs and dedicated the knock to his dad.
