Bigg Boss needs no introduction. It has been a show that’s created plenty of controversies, perhaps even more than the BCCI have managed to create, and over the last few years, it is one of the most watched reality shows in India. There have been ex cricketers like Navjot Sidhu, Vinod Kambli and Andrew Symonds who were part of the earlier seasons of Bigg Boss and many expected either Brett Lee or S Sreesanth to be a part of it this time around too, which unfortunately didn’t happen. Here’s why some Indian cricketers are tailor-made to be in the Bigg Boss house.
Rohit Sharma
Bigg Boss is THE dream destination for any lazy person. From the time they get up, to the time they go to bed, all they do is eat, talk, sleep and probably to a task for 2 minutes while Maggi is being cooked. There’s no better way Rohit can show his talent, without doing any hard work and just by showcasing his lazy elegance. He doesn’t feature in any cell phone ad like his good friend Virat and doesn’t come across as any tech friendly bloke too. So, dear Rohit, you have an alternate career option.
Gautam Gambhir
Bigg Boss makes sure there are a few arrogant, short tempered people in the house who would help the TRPs in one way or the other and there’s no better contestant than Gautam Gambhir to be out there. Perhaps that’s one way, the grumpy man of Indian cricket can rebuild a career.
S Sreesanth
If ever there is someone who has all the qualities that you need in a contestant to be in the Bigg Boss house, it has to be Sreesanth. He is god fearing, he dances, he is arrogant, he is childish, he is crazy and he’s committed (wherever there’s money). He cries, he gets slapped but does nothing, he tries to troll others and the list is just endless. Sreesanth will perhaps be the runaway winner of the show.
Harbhajan Singh
Controversy is Harbhajan Singh’s second name. Be it the fight with Symonds, or lifting Nita Ambani, Bhajji has always been a character. His antics when the camera turns to him and the aggression with which he goes about everything is just what a Bigg Boss contestant should have in his armory. Now that Bhajji has started featuring in music videos of his own, there’s no better platform to showcase that side of his talent.
Virat Kohli
Despite featuring in a cell-phone ad, though missed calls are all he’s bothered about there as well, Bigg Boss would be a perfect setting for the guy who loves to be in the limelight, Virat Kohli. He need not bother about his image and he can use foul words all day, because that’s what people do in the Bigg Boss show. He would have mirrors all around to work on his hair-style and cameras looking at him from all corners, which is just what the doctor ordered. And, of course, there will be a few hot girls around. So, there’s plenty of hope for Virat Kohli.
