#1 Wimbledon Final 2012
Winning the Wimbledon in 2012 meant a lot to Serena Williams as she was going through an extremely difficult phase in her career. She had suffered numerous injuries and did not win a Grand Slam for over two years.
Coming back from injury, she had reached the Wimbledon finals once again and was taking on Agnieszka Radwanska. She steamrolled her way through the first set, winning it with ease. However, Radwanska clawed her way back to take the second set.
With the match into the decider, Serena went into third gear and took the set 6-2, thus winning her fifth Wimbledon title. By doing so, she became only the second woman after Martina Navratilova to win a Grand Slam after the age of 30.
Result: Serena Williams def. Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1, 5-7, 6-2
