KKR owner Shahrukh Khan dons KXIP jersey during IPL title celebrations, calls them 'best team in IPL'

KKR co-owner Shahrukh Khan was seen celebrating wearing KXIP jersey after the IPL final

Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shahrukh Khan was on cloud nine after his team’s victory in the IPL final in Bangalore on Sunday, but despite all the celebrations, he showed tremendous sporting spirit which has been widely applauded by fans and players alike.

Shahrukh celebrated with his team, wearing the Kings XI Punjab’s jersey. When he was asked about it, he replied, “Although KKR has won, I have worn KXIP’s jersey because I believe they are the best team in this IPL.”

Kings XI were indeed the best team during the league phase where they finished top of the table with 22 points, while KKR came second with 18.

Shahrukh is close friends with KXIP co-owner Preity Zinta and even the actress was seen wearing the KKR jersey after the closely fought match.

Even Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli couldn’t help applaud Shahrukh for the same and congratulated KKR on the title victory.
