Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma has changed his signature to change his bowling fortunes. A graphologist from Hyderabad known as Ramesh Yadav had suggested to him to change his signature.
The 23-year old had an outstanding tour to Australia in 2007, where he troubled some of the top Australian batsmen including Ricky Ponting. Ishant who played 42 test matches and 47 ODIs for India was a regular member of team India till 2009. Since then he has been in and out of the side and has failed to make the most of the given opportunities.
He has made some spelling changes to his name; Ishant’s signature has become ‘Isshannt’ and the Delhi man believes that since the change of signatures he has become calmer.
However, it seems like his new signature is not helping his bowling since the fast bowler was smashed for 144 in his 33 overs in the 2nd test at the SCG. Ishant struggled in first 2 test matches and managed only 3 wickets with a poor bowling average of 78.33.
