Pace and bounce has always created problems for India on foreign soil but the New Zealand commentator and former international cricketer Simon Doull says, “pace won’t be a problem for India any more”.

He said that the new-look Indian side is full of stroke makers, who have got the experience in facing great face bowlers from the IPL. So they are much better against quick, short-pitched seam bowling.

‘Their ability to play spin is undoubted’, Doull added.

“India in the past decade have struggled to find genuine quicks – but they’ve got actually got a good group of seamers now,” he said.

‘The venues for the one day international series are high scoring grounds, which Indians would love’, he added.

“A one-day series against the world’s best at that format, India. It’s going to be a hell of a hard task to win this series. India are extremely good,” he said.
