Morne Morkel pulled off a blinder near the fine leg ropes

While it was always going to be tough to bat on the final day, it was South Africa's fielding, rather than their bowling, that had India in strife in the morning session. Sensational tag-team fielding from Lungi Ngidi, AB de Villiers and Quinton de Kock sent back Cheteshwar Pujara, India's biggest hope heading into the all important final day.

Parthiv Patel then hooked Kagiso Rabada to deep fine leg where Morne Morkel stormed in, pulled off a sensational dive and completed a terrific catch. It was a catch to remember for the big man. You could hear some South African fielder screaming on the stump mike - "C'mon boys. One for the bowlers now". The words epitomised how good the Proteas were in the field.
