#2 Shami and Rohit delay the inevitable

It was a litmus test for Rohit Sharma in whites

Rohit Sharma and Mohammad Shami entertained Indian fans in a 61 ball fiesty stand that reaped 54 runs. Shami was at his unorthodox best, swishing wildly with all the freedom in the World while Rohit Sharma, peppered by short stuff, resisted, attacked, resisted again and eventually attacked again.

The last of those almost landed in no-man's land but AB de Villiers in his Superman Avatar scampered in from the deep and pulled off a spectacular catch. Once the 54 run stand was broken with Rohit the man dismissed, India had nowhere to hide.
