Starc had a poor outing in England

One of the significant changes was Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc drop from the number one position. The player who previously topped the list dropped to second place after managing to only take five wickets in the series, his rating went from 783 to 713, which was a drop by a total 70 points.

England’s James Anderson though went out of the list after dropping 16 points. The player previously was in 9th place with 650 points, but dropped to 634 during the course of the series.

Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin who was already in the top 10 list was joined by fellow countryman Bhuvenshwar Kumar. Ashwin who was previously in 10th position went up by one place, and Kumar went on to replace him.
