He’s been the lone beacon of light in days of darkness for West Indian cricket. It’s no surprise then that he heads the list of batsmen who’ve batted the longest (in minutes) at the crease in international cricket (including Tests, ODIs and T20Is) for a losing cause. Chanderpaul has spent more than 25553 minutes (more than 425 hours, approximately 18 days) at the crease, where his team has ended up losing.

Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar comes next in the list, with 21253+ minutes on the crease for a losing cause.
