New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham became the 8th batsman in Test cricket history to score hundreds in the first two Test matches of their career; he recorded 107 in the first innings of the ongoing Test match between New Zealand and West Indies at Kingston. The pace bowling all-rounder had previously scored a hundred on his debut earlier this year, against India.

Ex-Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin is the only cricketer to have scored a century in each of his first 3 Tests.

Former Australian opener Bill Ponsford, who is the only player to twice break the world record for the highest individual score in First-class cricket (with scores of 429 and 437), is also in the list along with other notable names like Sourav Ganguly, Rohit Sharma and Alvin Kallicharran.

Rohit has the highest cumulative score (288) among all the batsmen who have made 100s in each of their first two Tests.
