When South Africa face-off against India in two days time, they will finally be playing a Test match at Durban after a span of nearly two years. The last Test was played in December 2011 against Sri Lanka.

The fact that Vernon Philander, who made his Test debut in November 2011, has never played a Test at Durban so far is quite astonishing.
