Yesterday, Kane Williamson smashed a sensational T20 century against Cape Cobras, scoring 101 runs off just 49 balls. It was the maiden T20 hundred for the young New Zealand batsman. It was also the fastest century in CLT20 history and the 7th hundred in the tournament’s history.
David Warner’s 135* runs against the Chennai Super Kings in 2011 edition still remains the highest CLT20 score of all time. No Indian batsman has reached the three-figure mark in CLT20, including no players from IPL teams.
