Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won 6 consecutive Tests against Australia at home as captain

In the current Border-Gavaskar trophy, MS Dhoni has won the sixth consecutive Test match as India’s captain against Australia on home soil.

It is quite a significant achievement considering that no other Indian captain from the past has been able to achieve what Dhoni has done in his five years as captain against Australia at home.

Interestingly, Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar are the other captains who along with Dhoni didn’t lose against Australia at home. Though Gavaskar has four draws and Tendulkar only captained once, while Dhoni has 100% win record with no draws, losses or ties for that matter.
