Mitchell Johnson has become the fourth fastest Australian to record 250 wickets in Test matches. The Australian pace bowler reaches the landmark in his 57th Test match. Alviro Petersen was Johnson’s 250th victim.

Former Australian seamer Dennis Lillee leads the list. He took only 48 Tests to reach 250 Test wickets. South Africa’s Dale Steyn is the second fastest to reach 250 Test wickets, taking only 49 matches to accomplish the feat.
