Chris Gayle scored a match winning hundred against Sri Lanka yesterday in the first match of the tri-series involving WI-SL-Ind. With that hundred, he took his tally of hundreds to 21 which made him jump one place ahead of former Pakistan opener Saeed Anwar.
Chris Gayle is the first West Indian batsman to reach the landmark of 20 ODI hundreds with Brain Lara a close second with 19 tons. Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 49 hundreds.
