Sandeep Sharma came very close to breaking the record of Ishant Sharma for most runs conceded in an IPL innings earlier today. The young Kings XI Punjab conceded 65 during his four-over spell at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Ishant Sharma had conceded 66 runs in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s match against Chennai Super Kings in last year’s edition of the Indian Premier League. It is interesting to note that the top five slots are all held by Indian bowlers in the list.
