#10 Pat Cummins

25-year-old Pat Cummins made his Test debut for Australia when he was just 18 years old. The match was against South Africa on Nov 17, 2011. He gave a match-winning performance and picked up 6 wickets in the 2nd innings. The impressive performance fetched him the Man of the Match award and also made him the talk of the town.
However, constant injuries plagued the young Pat Cummins. There was a stress fracture in his back as well as multiple other injuries which saw him out of the limelight for a long long time.
He would only return to play Test cricket for Australia after roughly 5 years and 4 months. A sad story indeed after a sensational debut.
In the 15 Tests he has played thus far, Cummins has already picked up 68 wickets at an average of 24.65 and economy rate of 2.92. He is also a handly lower middle order batsman and has scored 403 runs in Tests at an average of 20.15.
The fast bowler idolizes Brett Lee and has become an integral part of the national team after returning in 2017. Years of hard work has made his body more stable now and he is less prone to injury.
The Aussie speedster is ranked 7th as per the current ICC Test Rankings. He is also ranked the 9th in the All Rounder's list.
If injuries do not trouble him, Cummins is well on route to becoming a legend.
