The Supreme Court of India has rejected the plea of Bihar Cricket Association which had requested the apex court to stop the BCCI president in exile N.Srinivasan from contesting the ICC President elections.

"There is no conflict and our order is clear," the Supreme Court said declining to hear the plea.

However the Court has ordered that he can not return to the post of BCCI President till the IPL investigation is completed by the Mudgal commitee. Including Srinivasan, a total of 13 persons are under investigation for corruption allegations in IPL 2013.

The winner of the ICC elections to be held on June 27 will become the first chairman of the revamped ICC that promises more revenue to the ‘big three.’ Srinivasan was recently spotted at Chennai with Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for a promotional event.
