T20 World Cup 2024 Semi Final Teams
After 52 thrilling matches across the Caribbean islands and the United States of America, we have finally got our four semi-finalists for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
Former world champions India punched their ticket to the top four by winning each of their Super-8 matches. The Men in Blue will face defending champions England in a rematch of the 2022 semi-final in Guyana on June 27.
England earned their spot in the semi-finals by beating co-hosts West Indies and the USA. There is no reserve day for the second semi-final. However, an additional 250 minutes will be allotted to complete the game in case of rain.
Asian Giant Killers Afghanistan scripted history as they qualified in the semi-final of an ICC event for the first time. The Rashid Khan-led unit defeated former world champions Australia and Bangladesh to punch their ticket to the top four.
The Afghans will lock horns with the Proteas in the first semi-final in Trinidad on June 27. South Africa, on the other hand, topped their group by beating England, USA, and the West Indies. Unlike the second semi-final, a reserve day is in place for the Afghanistan vs. South Africa semi-final.

Both semi-finals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played on Thursday, June 27.
The first semi-final (Afghanistan vs. South Africa) will take place at 06:00 AM IST in Trinidad, while the second semi-final between India and England will take place in Guyana at 08:00 PM IST.
