Probable Indian Test team for the West Indies series

#4 Spinners:

Ravichandran Ashwin: He didn't have a great England series and picked just 11 wickets in 4 matches. In the 4th Test when Moeen Ali took 9 wickets, Ashwin wasn't able to impress much. He was also not a hundred percent fit in the series. If he is fit he will be back in the squad as the number 1 spinner owing to his impeccable record in the subcontinent.

Kuldeep Yadav: He just played one Test match against England and had a terrible outing. He has been a consistent performer in the limited overs though and is India's strike bowler in the middle overs. He will be a backup spinner in the squad and if Ashwin is not fit he will make it to the eleven.

#5 Seamers

Ishant Sharma: He was the second highest wicket-taker in the England series after James Anderson and he would be an obvious choice for the Test series.

Jasprit Bumrah: He bowled really well in the last series. In just 3 matches he picked up 14 wickets. He is currently one of the best bowlers in the world across all formats.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: He missed England's tour because of injury. He was dearly missed in England not only because of his bowling but also due to his ability to add some crucial runs down the order. Since he is fully fit now he should be back in the squad.

Mohammad Shami: He had a decent series against England. In some Test matches, he bowled an excellent line and length but was unlucky while he looked off-color in some others. He took 16 wickets in 5 matches in the last series and will be looking to improve his performance against West Indies.

Umesh Yadav: He played just one match and didn't look at his best and was dropped from the playing eleven.But he is a Kohli favourite and he will be looking to impress the selectors before the Australian tour.
