The Ballad of Brave Sir Ravi

Bravely bold Sir Ravi rode forth unto the Oval

He was not afraid to bowl, O Sir Ravi;

He was not at all afraid although he could not bowl in nasty ways

Brave, brave, brave Sir Ravi.

Brave Sir Ravi was not afraid to bowl to the Pup

though he may have his elbows broken, poor Sir Ravi;

Yet he was lucky therein, as the Pup did act ordinary

and gave an easy victory to brave Sir Ravi.

Then brave Sir Ravi with Big Sir Belly faced up to mean little Mitchy

and battled him with much valour, O Sir Ravi;

And mean little Mitchy cried at Sir Ravi in pain and uselessness

Brave, brave, brave Sir Ravi.

Brave Sir Ravi, good Sir Ravi rode forth unto the Oval,

and he lead from the front, O Sir Ravi;

He was not afraid to stand up and run though Brett Lee did send him off

for his soldiers had already won, O brave Sir Ravi.
