What makes a great fielder? It's not just the catching ability in the deep or taking sharp catches inside the circle. It's also about the adaptability of the fielder as to what all positions can he field in. Rahul Dravid was a great slip fielder but you wouldn't have seen him taking those diving catches in the deep.

This is what makes Ben Stokes special. He is an all-rounder in the truest sense. Not only he's equally capable with the bat and the ball, he is equally good in whatever position he takes in the field. He's phenomenal in the slips and equally trustworthy in the deep. Chris Jordan is an equally exceptional fielder from England but I chose Ben Stokes over him just for the fact that he plays more international cricket than him and as I mentioned, is a fielder for all positions.
