IPL: The highest partnership for each wicket in IPL history

Bravo and Tahir's partnership is the highest 9th wicket partnership in IPL history

This partnership came a few weeks back in the opening match of this year's IPL between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at Mumbai. Mumbai Indians batted first and posted 165/4.

In reply, Chennai Super Kings were struggling at 84/6. However, they saw a glimmer of hope when Dwayne Bravo began hitting some big shots. Following Mark Wood's dismissal, CSK were 118/8 in 16.3 overs.

At this point, Imran Tahir came in to join Bravo. Bravo was on strike most of the time and made the most out of it by smashing a few sixes. The duo added 41 for the 9th wicket from just 15 deliveries. The partnership came to an end after Bravo's dismissal for a massive 68 which is the highest score by a number 7 batsman in IPL history.

CSK eventually won the match after an injured Kedar Jadhav came back to bat (he had retired hurt during the 13th over) and hit a four and a six in the final over.
