The teen Afghan leg-spinner has had a stellar debut season in IPL 2018. Mujeeb, the youngest debutant ever in the IPL, was picked by the Kings XI Punjab for 4 crores at the IPL auction.

In 11 matches, Rahman has picked 14 wickets at an economy of 7. At a time when Ravichandran Ashwin's wickets had dried up,

Rahman did really well to shoulder the responsibility of Kings XI Punjab's spin department. Clearly, he overshadowed his senior professional.

Rahman's injury towards the business end of the tournament hampered the Kings XI Punjab very badly.

It was clearly seen from the beating that their bowling attack took against the KKR and Mumbai Indians. Looking back, Punjab would feel fortunate that they got the services of such a good player for only four crores.
