Umesh Yadav was removed from the eleven after the first test. Despite having a threatening pace, Umesh has found it difficult to bowl at a perfect line and length. His uneven bowling had been a huge problem for India. He has a habit of leaking runs and he is not able to maintain a line for more than three overs. Virat is not able to trust Umesh in the playing XI. The major problem with Umesh in the first test was he destroyed the first session for India with the new ball.

There are a lot of youngsters in the domestic circuit who are bowling constantly above 140kmph. Bowlers like Siraj have performed exceptionally whenever they are given the opportunity. Even Bhuvneshwar would regain his fitness in a couple of months. So, this might impact his career as today India has plenty of bowlers that could replace him.
