The name - Yuvraj Singh is still remembered as one of the most important players of the World Cup winning Indian squad of 2011. Battling the life threatening disease of cancer during the tournament, Singh kept his medical concerns aside and delivered stellar performances throughout the competition, consequently winning the title of the man of the series.

He was able to score 362 runs from 9 matches at a brilliant average of 90.50 and also picked 15 wickets in the tournament, making major contributions to the team's performance in almost all the matches. Unfortunately though, it has been 8 years and Yuvraj is not the same cricketer anymore.

Last making an international appearance almost two years ago, he seems unlikely to make another World Cup appearance in his career as the Indian team continues to suffer from the problem of plenty in the middle order - where the cricketer is accustomed to play. The cricketer will be hoping to recreate something like Virat Kohli's heroics in IPL 2016 so to catch the national selectors' eye when he plays for Mumbai Indians this season.
