TNPL 2016: Injuries rule three players out of the tournament

Three players have been ruled out of the India Cements TN Premier League due to injury. PS Nirmal Kumar from the Chepauk Super Gillies team has been replaced by Gowjith Subash. Subash is an all-rounder, who opens the batting and bowls leg-spin. He has previously represented the Young Stars Cricket Club team.

Karaikudi Kaalai is the second team to be dented by injury with fast bowler Sunil Sam missing out. He has been replaced by SS Santhamurthy, who is a right arm fast bowler and has played for the Swaraj Cricket Club.

Mukunth Karunakaran from Dindugal Dragons has also been ruled out of the league. The 20-year-old’s replacement is VRS Guru Kedarnath, a right hand batsman and a right hand off-spin bowler.
