1. Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson, a right-hand top-order New Zealand batsman. His form in the 2009-10 domestic season was outstanding, prompting the selectors to pick him in the squad for the World Cup 2011.

2. David Hussey

David Hussey is an Australian Cricketer. Hussey is a right-handed batsman and can also bowl right-arm off breaks. His elder brother is Australian Test cricketer Michael Hussey. He is very sensible all rounder & always run for team to win. He had played some special innings also as one of the special inning was his debut at Basseterre on July 4, 2008 in the fourth ODI of the bilateral series against the West Indies and scored 52, involved in a 50 partnership with brother Michael. So in this world cup also Australian cricket fans are excited to watch both Hussey brothers in action.

3. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli, An attacking player with a cool head, one of the dynamic Indian batsmen. He was the captain of the victorious Indian team at the 2008 U/19 Cricket World Cup held in Malaysia. Kohli is a middle order batsman, who can also open the batting. Batting at his favorite No. 4 position, he has a penchant for converting his fifties into big scores. He is known for his shots through the cover region. He can also bowl right arm medium pace. We saw his bowling performance in this month’s one day series against SA.

4. Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Pathan, a hard-hitting, powerful and aggressive right-handed Indian batsman and bowl right-arm off breaks. In the MTN ODI series against South Africa before the 2011 World Cup, he gave a stand out performance in a match against South Africa in Pretoria where he scored a brilliant 105 in 70 deliveries (comprising 8 fours and 8 sixes), even though India lost the match, his performance was complimented heavily. During this knock, he reached his century off 68 balls which is the sixth fastest by an Indian and the second fastest by an Indian outside the subcontinent. His batting performance during the entire series has elevated his chance to be part of the playing XI for India in the upcoming World Cup. So all Indian Cricket fans are waiting for Yusuf’s batting blast ..

5. Eoin Morgan

Eoin Morgan, A left-handed Irish Cricketer who plays for England. Morgan has reputation for inventive and audacious strokeplay. He is also noted as being a skilful player of the reverse sweep shot. Morgan is also very aggressive player. His special innings are 34-ball 67 in the Champions Trophy in September 2009 which he followed two months later with an unbeaten 45-ball 85 in the opening Twenty20 of England’s tour of South Africa. With a blend of nous and power, Morgan looks a natural ‘finisher’. So English fans are waiting for Morgan’s attacking batting performance.

6. Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis, An emerging all-rounder South African Cricketer. Plessis made a positive impression with his all-round skills – some of his fielding is electric, and people still talk about his catch in the Twenty20 Cup quarter-final against Middlesex in 2008.

7. Suresh Raina

Suresh Raina, An attacking left-handed Indian Batsman who goes for the big shots with impunity and clears the field with a swashbuckling flourish when at the top of his game, Raina is also equally capable of attracting applause as an electric fielder in the circle. He is also an occasional off-spinner. For a player of his ability, though, India must hope that Raina’s best innings are still to be played. So all Indians have their eyes on Suresh Raina’s performance.

8. Morne Van Wyk

Morne Van Wyk, A naturally attacking player & wicket- keeper, Morne opened the batting for SA in limited-overs matches and earned respect beyond his years at first-class level. Van Wyk is a manufactured rather than a born gloveman, but his natural ball-skills enabled SA to use him as their regular wicketkeeper in both formats of the game. Morne’s versatility undoubtedly contributed to his selection in South Africa’s one-day squad to play in world cup 2011.

9. Adrian Barath

Adrian Barath, Considered to be one of the most promising young batting talents in the Caribbean. Adrian Barath’s name had already been heard in the cricket world much before he made his Test debut – he had caught the eye of Brian Lara, no less, as a 11-year-old when batting in the nets.

10. Jonathan Trott
