The highest paid player of the IPL 2016, Yuvraj Singh, ranks sixth in the list with a total of INR 83.6 Crores. After being released by Kings XI Punjab this season, the elegant cricketer has returned to the auction pool and was roped in by Mumbai Indians at his base price.

The Punjab-born cricketer has started his IPL journey in 2008 with his home franchise Kings XI Punjab and went on to represent Pune Warriors India, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad.

India's World Cup hero has thus far featured in 128 IPL matches scoring 2652 runs at an average of 24.79 with the bat and scalping 36 wickets at a decent economy of 7.44 with his left-arm-orthodox bowling.

One of the most consistent players of the Indian Premier League, Suresh Raina stands at number five in the list. The Chennai Super Kings batsman has thus far bagged INR 88.74 Crores from IPL. Raina has been retained by Chennai Super Kings for INR 11 Crores this season.

Raina has been playing IPL since its inception in 2008. Raina has represented CSK for the first 9 editions and when his franchise was banned he led Gujarat Lions in 2016 and 2017 editions before coming back to CSK in 2018.

The Uttar Pradesh born player has thus far played 176 IPL matches, scoring 4985 runs at an average of 34.38 with the bat and picking 25 wickets with the ball.
