Rohit Sharma has started his IPL stint with Deccan Chargers in 2008 and he was an integral part of the triumphant team led by Adam Gilchrist in the 2nd edition of the tournament. Rohit was transferred to Mumbai Indians in 2011. Rohit led Mumbai Indians to three IPL titles after being made the captain in 2013.
The Nagpur-born cricketer has thus far played 173 IPL matches, scoring 4493 runs at an average of 31.87 and a strike rate of 131.03.

One of the most successful captains in the Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni is the only captain to lead a franchise in all seasons of the IPL. The Ranchi-born cricketer has led his franchise to three IPL titles in 2010, 2011 and 2018.
Dhoni has thus far featured in 175 IPL matches, scoring 4016 runs at an outstanding average of 40.16 and an excellent strike rate of 138.20.
