Day/night cricket, broadcaster intervention and the game becoming fully professional are all consequences of Packer’s breakaway competition.However, nothing has quite transcended the game quite like the introduction of coloured cricket kits. They were a novelty when introduced as an alternative to whites back in World Series Cricket, but they’re now seen the world over in both domestic and international cricket.The first major tournament where they were used was the 1992 Cricket World Cup and there have been some fantastic shirts produced since. The majority of the shirt and the trousers and cap are lime green, but what really makes this kit is the neat blend of green when it comes to the star on the jumper.You won't see a kit like this made today.
