He introduced a wealth of options to increase the profitability of the sport, many of which are still in use today. Day/night cricket, broadcaster intervention and the game becoming fully professional are all consequences of Packer’s breakaway competition.However, nothing has quite transcended the game quite like the introduction of coloured cricket kits. They were a novelty when introduced as an alternative to whites back in World Series Cricket, but they’re now seen the world over in both domestic and international cricket.The first major tournament where they were used was the 1992 Cricket World Cup and there have been some fantastic shirts produced since. On the other hand, there have also been some absolute howlers which haven't done well in the market.I’ve picked out what I think are the best 10 ODI kits from over the years.#10 Pakistan (1999)This two-toned green strip was worn by the Pakistan national team which finished runners-up in the 1999 World Cup. The majority of the shirt and the trousers and cap are lime green, but what really makes this kit is the neat blend of green when it comes to the star on the jumper.You won't see a kit like this made today.
