#1 England - 99 vs Sri Lanka, 2014

After winning the first match of the series, hosts England battled Sri Lanka at Chester le Street in the second match of the 5-match series. Sri Lankans were invited to bat first and T Dilshan's 88 helped them reach a defendable score of 256 runs. H Gurney took 3 wickets for England.

Nuwan Kulasekara totally baffled the English batsmen with his swing bowling as he sent the top 3 batsmen of the team back to the pavilion in no time. He was supported by S Senanayake who took care of the lower order by dismissing 4 batsmen as Sri Lanka levelled up the series with an emphatic win.
Captain Eoin Morgan scored 40 runs but did not get support from his teammates as his team was shot out for just 99 runs.
