In the final ODI match of the Bangladesh vs Windies series played at Chittagong, West Indies were invited to bat first by the hosts. The visitors had a 2-0 lead and were expected to dominate the third ODI as well. But the Bangladeshi bowlers completely outplayed the opposition with a clinical performance.

Shakib Al Hasan finished the innings with figures of 4/16 while Nasir Hossain (2/3) and S Shuvo (1/2) took 3 wickets between them to rattle the Windies side. K Powell (25) was the top scorer for the Caribbeans who were bundled out for 61 by the Bangla Tigers inside 22 overs.

Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim's patient innings helped the hosts secure a consolation victory in the 3rd match. Shakib Al Hasan was adjudged the man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance.
