#1 Mohammad Kaif
Mohammad Kaif is one of the best fielders India have ever produced. He came to the limelight during his match-winning partnership with Yuvraj Singh in the 2002 NatWest Trophy final at Lord's.
Kaif's batting form wasn't great, but he was consistently an asset on the field. During the Ganguly era, India were not blessed with great fielders. Only a few of them, like Yuvraj and Kaifl were regarded as the best.
Kaif used his athletic body to throw himself on the field. He never hesitated to dive on hard outfields and also took some blinders inside the circle. He also effected some stunning run outs too.
At his peak, it was blissful for Indian fans to see their countryman fielding brilliantly. It had been something they had witnessed only with overseas cricketers before then.
Kaif took 55 catches in ODIs and 14 catches in Tests. The numbers, however, won't reveal how stunning he was in the field.
